A more exciting week than last week

Time to update you on my life.
This past week-ish has been quite good, and also includes a few new discoveries. 


So the fairly average stuff first: I re-enrolled at college and it chucked it down, I've been to work several times, almost finished my personal statement and attempted to bring about some order to the chaos that is my room.  


Now for the good stuff: 

• My friend returned from down under and brought back Tim Tams (which are not as good as penguins), a multicoloured lizard that is on my wall, a mini koala that is on my curtain and some kangaroo jerky (it tasted disgusting, I would not recommend it). Having not seen her for a month we were back there the next day to camp in her garage, as you do.
• My friends played at the B2 in Norwich, so I went and watched them do their "female fuelled punk" thang
• I have rediscovered a liking for Quavers 
• Musical discoveries were made in the form of Hurts - Wonderful Life and Everything Everything - My Kz, Ur BF

And so we come to this morning...at exactly 9:07am I received my confirmation email from seetickets.com that I have booked to attend Reading Festival 2011. Hell to the freaking yeah! Yes, I was up, on my laptop, with my debit card in hand and gig buddy (now festival buddy too) MSN-ing me so we could coordinate our purchasing, deciding whether or not we needed a locker, early entry and exactly what was the difference between green and white car parks? FYI I chose the green car park...I prefer green. This morning pretty much made my week and I have had stupid grin on my face ever since 9:07am. XD <<<< Like that

Now I find myself in the last week of my summer holiday and as predicted at the start of my 6 weeks of freedom I have left my English and Photography work until now to be completed...bad Laura...so I know what I am going to be doing this week *sigh*
