Guess what, guess what, guess what!
The mood of this blog is pure excitement....
I've only gone and had my 18th birthday. Remember, remember the 5th of November...yes, now I can legally drink and drive BUT NOT AT THE SAME TIME. I had a brilliant day, got some some fantastic presents, a sparkly cake and had a yummy meal with my family. Actually, I had a brilliant few days, partly down to my disorganised friends who made sure I had a stream of presents right up until Monday but mostly because of the small matter of Center Parcs.
On Sunday morning I was up a ten to six (a time of day that should never been seen except in important circumstances) and by twenty past seven I was in my car trying to sucker a sat nav to my windscreen. Sat nav in place, I picked up the besties and we were off to the Aqua Sana with Irish Sean guiding us there. We had a very chilled out day including free breakfast, free lunch, swimming, Starbucks, a hog roast and the day rounded off with fireworks. Best. Birthday. Ever.
But birthday celebrations don't end there this weekend I've got two 18th birthday meals...this could make first period history on Monday morning interesting. Sadly Saturday I have to be good and stay sober as a) I'm driving b) it's a lunchtime meal and c) I'm going to work straight after the meal. Roll on Sunday evening :P
This next part literally just got a whole lot more exciting...I was about to write about my offer from Brighton uni when I get an email telling me the status of my UCAS application had changed, so I abandon this post and off I go to check...I've got an offer from Sheffield! Booooom my top two unis have offered me a place. Fan-freaking-tastic, until I try and decide which one is my favourite...hmmmmm
Finally, gig update: Klaxons on Friday :D ...also happening on Friday: Carl Barat tickets go on sale and I'm having one of those absolutely no question about it.
